Swinton will wear jersey #87.
In addition, the team has added safety Aaron Francisco to the practice squad. Francisco, originally signed as a rookie free agent on April 25, was released during training camp on August 22. He finished second on BYU last season with 88 tackles (43 solo), also recording one sack and one interception. He concluded his collegiate career with 330 tackles (167 solo) and seven interceptions.
Reggie Swinton is a good pick-up. He has 4 return TD's. An if you look on the Cardinals message board, the fans liked JJ Moses - he was an upgrade to Dan Sheldon, but Swinton is an upgrade to Moses - (4 more TD's than Moses)
