Houston Texans Spank Cardinals
Somehow I expected this. The Cardinals could not win a game they are supposed to win. All this talk about a 3 game road streak is too much for our beloved Cardinals. Houston is the worst team in NFL against the rush and we put up a whopping 39 yards. No committment. I know we were behind, but if you run, you control the game. They started the game with 2 out of 3 passes. Both were sacks and that set the mode. I was yelling before the offense took the field - run it! Houston was licking their chops and knew we were going to step back on the first play - pitiful! I wish the coaches could see this.
It's a game of emotion. Cards need to overcome thier "Loser" funk and believe. If our idiot coach doesn't screw around with the QB position last year - we are a playoff team. Instead - we are digressing. If he turns over another 25-30 players next year - we are doomed.
Hurt Warner is out again. Get used to this if we re-sign him.
Needs - Stud linebacker, stud DT, true safety, blocking TE what do you think?

Redskins Re-cap
I was at the game really steaming by all the pathetic Redskin fans. We kept them quiet most of the game, but Cardinals just do not know how to do a complete game.
I am more and more convinced of the falsehood of Kurt's greatness. He is not a bad QB, but with a different QB, I think we win this game. The problem is, he is a one-trick pony. Teams know it, and they do not respect his ability. It was Kurt who called that audible on 3rd and 1 and threw it to Fitz for a screen. Kurt just doesn't have the "it" that is needed.
Anquan is still amazing. The ref's still suck. How can the ref by the play call push out for a 26 yard completion, then a ref on the backside who did not see it over rule him? That was huge. We would have had the ball on the 10 and first down. Instead - we punt.
Rackers is incredible - 44 yard with a bum leg?
Rolle came back and played nicely.
Shipp ran well - but fumbled as well as JJ.
Adam Bergen had a nice catch.
The O-line did not committ a penalty! We had a fasle start - but it was the special teams unit.
Defense was very tough, and pretty much stopped the run. Portis did have 100+ yards, but wasn't a game turner.
I actually feel the better team did not win. Our coaches kind of blew this one for us. Our players played hard and did not give up. I wanted this win in such a bad way. Nothing excites me more than watching all the bandwagoners leave the stadium as their pathetic team loses to the Cardinals. I live for the day of an 8-0 home record.

Cards Complete season sweep of 49'ers
I can't remember the last time the Cardinals completed a season series. It has to be the Jake Plummer era when we beat Washington twice in one year. This makes our division record 3-3 this year, and at the beginning of the season, I predicted a 3-3 division record, but of course, I also predicted us to be about 7-5 at this point.
This game was difficult to watch. The creative play calling that appeared against Jacksonville seemed to go away. (Both games, I still wanted a bigger committment to the run) Against a better team, they lose this game. But I am not complaining, I will take ugly wins any day over beautiful losses. I think Josh McCown would have had us a few more first downs, and a TD on that 3rd and goal - but as it is - get over it!
The biggest thing that bothers me - 3rd and long - at least 4 times they threw it short, relying on the legs of "Q" to get the first down. You can't keep doing that. It paid off on the TD run, because "Q' is a stud, but it will not always work. Then, when it is 4 and 2 - they throw deep - what gives?
Another bummer - Neil Rackers could have had 3 more FG's - possibly 4. I really wanted him to get that record. I hope he still gets the pro-bowl either way.
JJ Arrington played well enough to be annointed the starter. Let's give him 25 carries against Washington.
Bryant Johnson played well again. This guy always seems to come on late in the year. We will need everybody working to beat the Redskins.
It would be nice to win 3 of the next 4 games to finish the season.

Prediction - 49 ers
OK - it seems not possible to predict the Cardinals to beat the same team twice in one year. We have not won in SF in 9 straight years. We do not have our offensive scoring threat - Neil Rackers. But somehow I think we will win this game. Here is the weird thing - this will be the first week we run over 100 yards rushing. It may not be all JJ Arrington, although he is due, but it will happen. The niners are expecting big passing, which we will provide, but we will also have the run attack. I expect alot of points in this game. Lets go Cardinals!

Rackers' hurt
The worst happened at practice today - Rackers hurt is planting leg, hopefully only out for a few weeks, but it could be serious.
