Cards Complete season sweep of 49'ers

I can't remember the last time the Cardinals completed a season series. It has to be the Jake Plummer era when we beat Washington twice in one year. This makes our division record 3-3 this year, and at the beginning of the season, I predicted a 3-3 division record, but of course, I also predicted us to be about 7-5 at this point.

This game was difficult to watch. The creative play calling that appeared against Jacksonville seemed to go away. (Both games, I still wanted a bigger committment to the run) Against a better team, they lose this game. But I am not complaining, I will take ugly wins any day over beautiful losses. I think Josh McCown would have had us a few more first downs, and a TD on that 3rd and goal - but as it is - get over it!

The biggest thing that bothers me - 3rd and long - at least 4 times they threw it short, relying on the legs of "Q" to get the first down. You can't keep doing that. It paid off on the TD run, because "Q' is a stud, but it will not always work. Then, when it is 4 and 2 - they throw deep - what gives?

Another bummer - Neil Rackers could have had 3 more FG's - possibly 4. I really wanted him to get that record. I hope he still gets the pro-bowl either way.
JJ Arrington played well enough to be annointed the starter. Let's give him 25 carries against Washington.

Bryant Johnson played well again. This guy always seems to come on late in the year. We will need everybody working to beat the Redskins.

It would be nice to win 3 of the next 4 games to finish the season.
