Apparently Cards are interested in Antwan Randel el. He would fit nicely as a third WR and kick returner. You could even make him your 3 QB. But why would he come here to be #3? The Bears want him as well, he will be #2 there, and he is #2 with Pitt. I'm not sure what we could offer him in terms of wanting to be a Cardinal.
The Cardinals are also interested in Seahawks all-pro guard Steve Hutchison. Now this would be a great pick-up and there would be a chance we could grab him. We have the money and could show him the money like we did Pete Kendall from Seattle.
It is reported that Cardinals offered a very fair deal for Kurt around $5 m a year. It think that is appropriate. Apparently Kurt wants more up front - I'm not sure what the signing bonus was, but he wants more. I'm sure the deal will be done before free agency March 2.
Does it bother anyone else that the Seahawks were screwed by the refs! The first TD should have been a td (no offensive PI): Ben R. did not get in: The one foot in, the second foot hit the pylon before half should have been a TD for Seattle (by rule): It was not holding in the 4th q to bring Seattle to the one yard line: There were 2 offsides calls missed on Pitt: Chop block on Hassleback?
